New commit today to fix some bugs in Search.

Now hopefully, search will limit to the group you are in if that is your choice as the user. Previously, there was a bug where it searched the entire section.

Now, click Search in a group to search that group.

Click Search in a section to search that section.

Searching Message-ID has not changed. It should search the entire server.
