Hi,

I am subscribed through eternal september, for text only news groups.
I was unable to find binary news groups.
I read a few things about binaries4all which have paid servers.
I also installed the tool
https://sabnzbd.org/

But it is of no use for now, as I dont plan to use
paid news server account

Please let me know if there are
free news server for binary content
for read and write access.

Regards.

alt.free.newsservers might be a better forum to ask about free news servers,
but for binaries article retention and completeness is among considerations;
for posting binaries camelsystem powerpost still seems to be fairly popular:

I don't understand why paying for Usenet binaries is such a big deal

You can get blocks of many gigabytes of usage that will last you for
years for about $25 USA. That's a much better deal than paying
X-amount of $$ each month. I've done it this way for more a couple of
decades.

I've always used Astraweb.com for my blocks.

p.s. i just tested "alt.binaries" on one popular free news server, and
that newsgroup shows currently active with nearly twenty-three thousand
(22,910) articles... recommend testing free servers that carry binaries
(free news server list with urls on the https://sybershock.com/#usenet)

Hi,

Please tell me what news servers make binaries available.

Which server you are talking about.

Can I create and post NZB files

Can I get downloads from the news server, using NZB files.

I just want to know if it is possible and free.

Here https://sybershock.com/#usenet I find text only servers, and others
in non English language.

Thanks,
Regards.

prefer using omnimix with tor browser to access news servers on port 563,
implicit ssl, socks version 5; but some servers use port 119 and may not
accept tor connections . . . recommend newsgroup "alt.free.newsservers";
i just checked "alt.binaries" again . . . forty-three thousand (~43,200)
multi-part "yEnc" messages, but retention is probably only several days;
maybe someone else can respond to your inquiries, try "alt.binaries.nzb"
