Set the example.

I was on the bus going to work. I had paid for my ticket in cash, but I
left my wallet on the seat next to me. When we got to the bus terminal,
I got up to leave, but forgot my wallet. Someone was nice enough to
point it out to me. I put the wallet in my pocket. I should have given
him $20 in reward, but I did not. I have regret.
