I like how Linux updates often save memory.

# pacman -Syu
. . .
xorg-util-macros-1.20.1-1 xorg-xwayland-23.2.6-2
yt-dlp-2024.04.09-2 zbar-0.23.93-1

Total Download Size: 1864.02 MiB
Total Installed Size: 5641.42 MiB
Net Upgrade Size: -21.89 MiB

:: Proceed with installation? [Y/n]

Is Windows still an ever-bloating monstrosity? I don't have to care anymore!

There’s a lot of stuff in Windows that nobody dares to touch because they
aren’t really sure what it does any more. And so the legacy cruft just
piles up and up.

I'm going to assume it's just optimization then.

often?

What a lie.

"Marti, we don't care about Microsoft and its products here."

You didn't have a care in the world as long as the Windows money was
rolling in:

"I'm not worried about money, we have plenty. Thanks to Windows-related
work, but that's my own crucifix to bear." - Creepy Ahlstrom Feb 2007

And did you ever suffer! You bore that 'crucifix' daily for another 17
years, whining about Windows and MS the whole time ... there's a good
"advocate".
